Pakoray are a very popular snack in Pakistan and so even though its quite a traditional item, many variations have been made to it nowadays. Todays recipe is the CHICKEN PAKORAY, very delicious and easy and perfect for Ramazan of course...

  • 500 gm Boneless Chicken Pieces
  • 2 tbsp Oil 
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1-2 each Chopped Green Chillies (Jalapeno)
  • 1 Chopped Onion 
  • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Vinegar 
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice

  1. Put everything but chicken and batter in blender and blend till fine
  2. Marinate the chicken pieces with the resulting mixture
  3. Keep in the fridge for about an hour.
  4. Put chicken in batter
  5. Deep fry it until its color changes to golden brown.
  6. Serve the chicken pakora with mint chutney or tomato ketchup
